SEB has received permission from Swedish FSA to acquire property

On Monday the Swedish FSA granted SEB permission to acquire parts of the German subsidiary.

As SEB has previously communicated, a process is currently in progress to, starting in 2018, run German operations under the framework of a branch of parent company Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ).  As part of this, SEB has applied for permission from the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) to acquire parts of German operations within the division Large Corporates & Financial Institutions from its German subsidiary SEB AG, as this business will form the future branch from 2018. The Swedish FSA announced today its decision to grant SEB permission for this.
