SEB has launched Latvian Facebook channel

SEB this week launched its Latvian Facebook channel where customers can keep track of the bank’s events, express views and opinions, engage in and support social projects and of course ask SEB’s call centre specialists questions related to products, services and their personal financial needs.

SEB in Latvia is already using a host of web based communication channels including Draugiem.lv (equivalent to Facebook in Latvian language), Twitter, Skype, YouTube, Soundcloud, Slideshare, Flickr and Foursquare.

“We are always looking for new opportunities to meet our clients. It is important for us to be in the place where our customer is and to communicate with him or her in the most convenient way,” Ieva Tetere, head of SEB’s Latvian retail banking unit, says.
