About the role:
As Team Manager, you'll drive real results while developing a great team. You'll handle daily operations, stakeholder deliveries, and strategic planning across Sanctions Screening and Customer Lifecycle Services.
We're looking for an experienced manager who loves coaching people to reach their potential while hitting targets and KPIs. You'll set best practices, improve processes, minimize operational risks, and secure operational and customer excellence - all while creating an environment where both individuals and the team can thrive.
There’s no ‘routine’ in Sanctions Screening, as we continuously grow, take on new scope, products, and processes.

As a Team Manager, you will:
  • Lead and develop a team of 12-15 professionals across recruitment, performance management, and career development
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders across SEB's 12+ geographies to drive results
  • Define your team's strategic role in end-to-end processes while standardizing and continuously improving deliveries and best practices
  • Identify future competence needs and optimize work allocation to meet customer demands
  • Manage vendor relationships and actively contribute to our transformation agenda
  • To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
  • Proven leadership experience in operations, service delivery, or process-driven environments – preferably within financial services, compliance, or related regulated areas
  • Track record of coaching and developing teams, with the ability to inspire, challenge, and support individual growth and team performance
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, including the ability to align across multiple geographies, navigate complex dependencies, and communicate with clarity and confidence
  • Strategic thinking and analytical capability, enabling you to shape your team’s role in broader end-to-end processes while maintaining focus on daily execution
  • Comfort with change and ambiguity, thriving in fast-paced environments where scope evolves and innovation is encouraged
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance long-term planning and short-term delivery
  • Fluent English and communication skills. Work execution is related to foreign countries.
  • Experience with process improvement, risk mitigation, and performance optimization, including familiarity with Lean, Agile, or similar methodologies will be considered as an advantage.

  • 2.550 € - 3.850 € a month
    Monthly salary range indicated for this position is before tax deduction. The offer for final candidate* will depend on experience and competences of the candidate for the required job. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
