Youth Lab – Software Engineering Trainee at Customer Engagement Solutions Team | SEB, Vilnius
Do you want to gain hands-on experience in a real-world development environment?
Youth LAB is a paid international internship program in SEB Bank. You will dedicate five weeks of time working on real and meaningful business projects. Another one week of time you will be innovating for sustainable future and learn design thinking methods. You will get a personal mentor who will support you throughout the internship
What you will be doing?
You will join Customer Engagement Solutions team, which is working on implementing customer servicing solutions and making their usage beneficial and secure for the bank. Team is working on solutions like chatbot, appointment booking, call center software and numerous others. You will help build middleware applications, to support and enhance third party products and their usage for SEB employees and clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Participate in team agile routines.
- Assist in writing and maintaining owned applications, create and update autotests, propose ideas for development / improvement.
- Assist in incident impact assessment, analyse and describe requirements to resolve issues, and test emergency changes, acting according to set priorities.
- Develop and propose improvements based on stakeholders needs, feedback, insights, regulatory requirements, efficiency or gap analysis
- Constant self-sufficient training
What we expect:
- A student in Higher educational institution pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other engineering field.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Fluent in English
- Familiarity with SQL or other database querying language, basic understanding of secure IT development and best practices for code writing
- A sense of responsibility, willingness to learn continuously and positive attitude.

1.160 € - 1.400 € a month
Before tax deduction, the final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
