Wealth & Asset Management

The Wealth & Asset Management division (WAM) serves a wide range of client segments, including high-net-worth individuals, business families, private equity firms, institutional investors and corporate clients.

WAM has approximately 2000 employees across 15 markets: Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Finland, France, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Germany, Luxembourg, the UK, Ireland, Singapore, Poland and Switzerland.

What You Will Do

As a Digital Channels & Customer Insights Intern, you will join our Digital Channels & Marketing team as an analyst and project support, working closely with team members on customer insights, data-driven ways of working, and the development of our digital channels. This role offers hands-on experience with how SEB’s Life & Pension uses customer understanding and data to improve our digital customer experience.

Who Are You?

You are interested and curious about life and pension industry and how the market is changing. You're the kind of person who can't look at a website or app without wondering why it works the way it does, and how it could work better. You're curious about people, their habits, needs, and the small frictions that make them click away, and you like turning those observations into something concrete.
Numbers don't scare you; they intrigue you, because you know that behind every data point is a real customer making a real decision about their future. You're probably studying business, economics, data analytics, marketing, or something similar, but what matters most is your mindset: you ask good questions, you enjoy digging until you find the answer, and you're just as comfortable sharing an insight with the team as you are rolling up your sleeves to help a project move forward.

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in the life and pension market and a genuine interest in digital customer experience and in understanding customer behavior.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams, in both Swedish and English.
  • A proactive mindset with the ability to take initiative and drive projects forward.
  • Solid analytical skills and comfort working with data.
  • A structured way of working and the ability to manage several tasks at once.

Meritorious

  • Previous experience working with life and pension.
  • Experience with data analysis or visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with web or app analytics.
  • Coursework or experience in customer insights, market research, UX, or digital marketing.
