SEB is a technology-driven organization with a strong focus on innovation, collaboration, and sustainable development. We work with a broad and modern technology landscape – from legacy systems to advanced AI solutions – and we take pride in fostering an inclusive, supportive, and learning-oriented culture.

About the role:

We are looking for a Test Specialist to join our Customer Lifecycle Tribe, which is responsible for SEB’s master data solutions and customer processes, including customer onboarding, review, and KYC-related flows.

In this role, testing and quality are your primary focus. You will be a key contributor to ensuring high-quality deliveries across complex systems and integrations. In addition, you will take on Scrum Master responsibilities for one development team, acting as a servant leader and agile coach to support effective collaboration and continuous improvement.
This is a combined role for someone who enjoys being hands-on in testing while also supporting the team’s agile ways of working.

Main responsibilities: As a Test Specialist (primary focus)
  • Design, create, execute, and maintain different types of tests within the team to ensure high-quality deliveries
  • Take responsibility for end-to-end testing, including non-functional testing and support with acceptance testing
  • Collaborate closely with other Test Specialists to align testing strategies and execution across teams
  • Perform root cause analysis and support troubleshooting of defects throughout the solution lifecycle
  • Continuously improve test methods, tools, and processes
  • Make conscious decisions about what to automate and what not to automate, based on value and risk
  • Main responsibilities: As a Scrum Master (secondary but essential responsibility)
  • Lead the team in its daily agile work and facilitate Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups
  • Coach the team in agile principles and practices, helping them grow as a high-performing, self-organizing team
  • Remove impediments and support a smooth flow of value from idea to production
  • Challenge existing ways of working and help introduce improvements where needed
  • Collaborate with other Scrum Masters, line managers, Product Owners, and stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and learning
  • To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
  • Proven experience in testing and quality assurance for complex software systems.
  • A solid understanding of complex systems and integrations, ensuring high-quality deliveries.
  • Practical experience or strong interest in fulfilling Scrum Master responsibilities and agile methodologies.
  • The ability to act as a servant leader and an agile coach, promoting effective team collaboration.
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • What we offer:
  • International opportunities and working environment
  • Workplace in one of the most modern, sustainable and inspiring offices in Riga
  • Competitive compensation and access to SEB’s staff banking benefits, including health insurance and pension savings
  • Numerous opportunities to move internally - horizontally and vertically
  • A diverse, inclusive and equal environment
  • 2.750 € - 4.000 € a month
Monthly salary range indicated for this position is before tax deduction. The offer for final candidate* will depend on experience and competences of the candidate for the required job. The overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.

Do you want to be a part of SEB?  Welcome to our inclusive culture, where our shared values inspire and uplift our team. We celebrate diversity and strive to ensure every employee feels seen, heard, and valued.

Please apply via “Apply” option. Send brief description of yourself and how you can contribute, together with your CV. Since we select candidates continuously you may already send in your application today, but last day of application is 27.03.2026.

    * Candidate must meet the requirements of Article 34.5 of the Credit Institution Law

It is our fundamental belief that inclusion and diversity is crucial for our future success. We strive to have an inclusive, value-driven culture where employees feel valued, respected, and involved irrespective of who they are, what they believe or where they come from.
