Are you an experienced leader ready to shape the future of HR’s operative and system landscape? SEB is seeking a senior strategic counterpart to drive one of HR’s most significant transformation initiatives.
SEB is undertaking a major overhaul of HR’s system landscape, including migrating the Core HR solution to a modern cloud platform. This transformation has broad implications for HR’s system logic, operating model, and long-term strategy.
In this role, you will serve as a strategic partner to Head of HR Business Solutions & Strategy and lead big picture analysis, key decisions, and act as the business architect for SEB’s future HR solution. You will define foundational logic, principles, and frameworks and ensure that our long-term, enterprise-wide design remains intact. You will serve as the guardian of these principles and challenge decisions that introduce unnecessary complexity, fragmentation, or risk.
You will take ownership of strategic decisions while also confidently navigating detailed design questions where needed. This role offers significant influence, visibility, and the opportunity to shape SEB’s future HR ecosystem.
Your responsibilities

Define and own foundational business logic, structural principles, and design guardrails for the HR solution

Ensure core structures such as organizational data, job architecture, position management, skills, and security are designed to support long-term sustainability

Secure adherence to the structure and intervene when decisions introduce unnecessary complexity, fragmentation, or risk

Establish a maintainable product to govern the core logic long-term including design documentation as well as key principles and decisions

Support the development of an operative model for continuous product development

Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across HR and Technology to align strategy, design, and execution
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

Several years of experience leading complex structural or architectural change within HR, with exceptional analytical capability.

Experience with HR technologies

Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, as this will be crucial.

A structured mindset and you can resolve complex matters

Knowledge on how translate strategic intent into clear, usable design direction

The ability to take an enterprise-wide perspective ensuring scalability and long-term integrity

The ability to take ownership of difficult design decisions and stand by them
