Software Developer & Test Data Engineer to the Test ART in Developer Experience | SEB, Vilnius

As a part of Strategy & Change and Developer Experience, the Test ART deliver, maintain, and improve SEB's common testing capabilities, tools, and services to enable and guide development teams to verify software quality efficiently, confidently, and at scale. As Software developer & Test data engineer you would contribute to this journey by supporting the bank with new and existing testing tools together with your team.
About the role:
We are looking for a Software Developer & Test Data Engineer with a passion for teamwork and quality. You will work on assigned tasks, including testing and support as well as actively participate in defining tasks and suggesting directions for improvements. In this role, you will play a key part in building and evolving solutions to help SEB development teams deliver high-quality software quickly, reliably, and safely.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
Proficiency in SQL and familiarity with database structures. Knowledge of how different components of a system interact, including databases, servers, and network infrastructure Communication, teamwork, and adaptability for collaborating with cross-functional teams and adapting to new tools and technologies Experience in Java 17, Angular A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent A curious mindset, willingness to develop yourself, share your knowledge and help others; Interest in both existing and new methodologies and tools, as well as willingness to bring new solutions to SEB. A proactive, self-driven problem solver, able to take leadership and act quickly Fluency in English and great communication skills
Development or implementation experience in Docker Experience in data preparation and transformation Experience with low-code/no-code platforms Familiarity with Linux/Unix operating system Experience with Test Data Management Experience in ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes. Knowledge of Version Control systems like Git, GitHub

3.650 € - 5.450 € a month
The above indicated range is the monthly salary range for this position before tax deduction. The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
