Help shape the future developer platform at SEB Kort.

We're looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who wants to help development teams across SEB Kort build, deploy, secure, and operate software more efficiently.

About the role

You'll join a team that develops and evolves shared engineering capabilities used by multiple teams across the organization. Our focus areas include API automation, CI/CD enablement, Kubernetes platforms, security automation, and AI-powered engineering solutions.

A key part of the role is helping teams adopt modern ways of working through GitHub Actions, Argo CD, developer tooling, and self-service capabilities. We also work with automation that simplifies vulnerability management, dependency handling, and patching activities.

In parallel, we're exploring how AI, agents, and reusable skills can improve developer productivity and automate everyday engineering tasks.

In this role, you will:

  • Develop and maintain API automation and integration solutions
  • Develop solutions based on GitHub Actions, Argo CD, and modern CI/CD practices
  • Improve developer experience through automation and self-service capabilities
  • Build solutions that simplify vulnerability management and automated patching
  • Collaborate with developers, architects, security specialists, and platform teams
  • Contribute to AI initiatives involving agents, automation, and reusable skills
  • Drive continuous improvements across our engineering platforms
  • Develop monitoring and observability capabilities that help teams understand platform health, troubleshoot issues, and operate services reliably
  • You will work with technologies such as Java, RUST, TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node, Next.js, GitHub Actions, Argo CD, Docker, Kubernetes and Bash.

Who you are

We're looking for a highly experienced Platform Engineer who thrives on solving complex engineering challenges through automation, standardization, and reusable solutions. You have at least 7 years of hands-on experience in Platform Engineering, Software Engineering, DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, or a similar field, with a proven track record of driving engineering excellence at scale.

Required experience and competencies:

  • Strong software development skills and experience building production-grade solutions.
  • Deep expertise in CI/CD platform GitHub Actions, including pipeline design, governance, and automation.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience implementing DevSecOps practices, including security automation and compliance controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
  • Strong understanding of API design, API governance, and integration architectures.
  • Solid experience with observability platforms and operational excellence, including metrics, logging, tracing, alerting, dashboards, incident management, and root-cause analysis.
  • Experience designing and operating internal developer platforms or shared engineering capabilities is considered a strong advantage.

You have demonstrated the ability to:

  • Lead technical discussions and influence architectural decisions.
  • Drive engineering best practices across multiple teams and domains.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to engineers, architects, and product stakeholders.
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on implementation.

Since you will collaborate across the organization and work with both Swedish and international teams, professional proficiency in both Swedish and English is required.

Meriting Qualifications

  • Experience with OpenShift, Google Cloud, or Azure
  • Knowledge of RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Experience with Argo CD and GitOps
  • Experience with developer tooling or internal platforms
  • Experience with AI-assisted development, agents, or automation solutions

What we offer:

You'll be part of a highly skilled team working with modern technologies and strategic engineering initiatives across SEB Kort.
Our mission is to make software delivery simpler, safer, and more efficient through platform engineering, automation, and developer self-service.

We offer a collaborative culture, opportunities to influence the future of engineering at SEB Kort, and a hybrid work model with three office days in Solna and two remote days per week.
