About the team

You will join the Baltic Network Department — a highly skilled, collaborative team responsible for designing, maintaining, and evolving SEB’s network infrastructure across all Baltic sites. We work closely with solution architects, security experts, and platform teams to ensure a stable, secure, and future‑ready network environment. Knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and a proactive mindset are core parts of how we operate.

About the role

As a Senior Network Administrator, you will play a key role in planning, configuring, maintaining, and improving SEB’s network infrastructure across the Baltics. Your responsibilities will span both operational excellence and strategic development, including architectural input for critical services.A major focus area for this role is the configuration, lifecycle management, and architectural evolution of SEB’s Proxy service based on Bluecoat technologies. You will ensure that the Proxy platform remains secure, resilient, and aligned with SEB’s broader network and security architecture.

Your main tasks will include:

  • Acting as the primary expert for Bluecoat Proxy:

    • Managing configuration standards and policies

    • Ensuring secure and efficient traffic routing

    • Providing architectural input for future Proxy service development

    • Testing and evaluating new Proxy‑related solutions and integrations

  • Leading activities such as planning, coordinating, configuring, testing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and tuning network devices and services.

  • Contributing to Baltic‑level network development plans and aligning configuration standards across all network equipment.

  • Documenting solutions, planning testing and deployment activities, and ensuring high‑quality operational readiness.

  • Providing support and incident resolution for supervised network areas, including Proxy services.

  • Continuously following global developments in network technologies, especially in secure web gateway and proxy domains.

  • Coaching junior colleagues and promoting good network administrative practices.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
  • Strong knowledge of network design, administration, and security principles.

  • Deep understanding of network technologies, topologies, and traffic flows — including secure web gateway concepts.

  • Hands‑on experience with Bluecoat Proxy (Symantec/Broadcom) or similar enterprise‑grade proxy solutions.

  • Strong analytical skills, structural thinking, and the ability to take a holistic view of processes.

  • A proactive mindset, openness to innovation, and willingness to evolve with new technologies.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.

  • A sense of ownership, responsibility, and commitment to high‑quality delivery.

  • Public cloud services knowledge (e.g., Azure, AWS or GCP) and AI exposure are big plus

  • Good written and spoken English.

What we offer:
  • Meaningful, challenging work in a highly skilled international team
  • Supportive, inclusive culture with modern ergonomic workspaces and relaxation areas

  • A strong learning culture with unlimited access to SEB Campus for continuous development

  • Competitive compensation, extra vacation days, and exclusive benefits on banking products

  • Health insurance and various opportunities to support your mental well‑being
