About the internship:
You’ll begin with an introduction day before diving into meaningful work in your home department, supported by your team and tutor. The internship runs from 8 June to 21 August, offering a summer full of learning and hands-on experience. Most of your time will be spent in the Cloud Foundation department, working on various infrastructure automation tasks giving you a real opportunity to contribute and develop your skills.
About the role:
The Azure & AWS Core team at SEB is responsible for developing, maintaining, and operating foundational cloud services on Azure and AWS. The team enables secure, scalable, and innovative solutions for SEB’s internal customers, supporting the bank’s journey into public cloud environments.
Typical Projects & Technologies
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, automation pipelines, CI/CD.
Cloud Security: Key encryption management, compliance controls, IAM modules.
Monitoring & Observability: Logging, monitoring, and alerting platforms.
Development Languages: TypeScript, Bash, Python, C#, Java.
Platform Hardening: Azure DevOps, Defender for Cloud, Sentinel, policy and access reviews.
You will be tasked with migration from C# to Python for different infrastructure components making up our Landing Zone provisioning engine. Furthermore, if you have skills in TypeScript, they may come in handy for automated deployment of our sandbox environments.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
· Experience with Azure.
· Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), automation, and CI/CD.
· Proficiency in TypeScript, Bash, Python, and optionally C# or Java.
· Comfortable working in agile organizations and driving change initiatives.
· Strong communication and presentation skills in English (Swedish is a plus).
Furthermore, you must be available to work the entire internship period between 8th of June to 21st of August from our office in Solna. You are currently a student and need to have completed at least two years of studies on an undergraduate level at the time of the internship.
