About the role:
Overseeing, managing and maintaining the software applications, ensuring their optimal performance and compliance with all relevant regulations, guiding and mentoring junior administrators.
 
Please note, that the position requires occasional on-call support outside of regular business hours

Technologies you will be working with: Java applications, Tomcat, Openshift, Redpanda, Sonic and other.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Application deployment and maintenance, monitoring and performance optimization, capacity planning, security and compliance
  • Resolving application-related issues, providing guidance and mentorship to junior administrators and technical support to other organizational units
  • Implementing necessary performance tuning and optimization strategies
  • Staying updated on emerging technologies and trends in application administration.
  • To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
  • Extensive hands-on experience with middleware and application platforms such as Java/Tomcat, container orchestration (OpenShift/Kubernetes), and event streaming or messaging technologies (e.g., Redpanda, Sonic, or similar).
  • Experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
  • Scripting skills to automate operational tasks.
  • Awareness of application and platform security (e.g., TLS, certificates, authentication, authorization).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and performance tuning, with the ability to analyze complex, distributed systems and identify root causes efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills in English, that are required to work with colleagues across Baltic countries
  • Collaborative mindset and interest in mentoring colleagues if required
  • Continuous learning orientation, staying current with newest solutions to drive improvements

  • 2.800 € - 4.200 € a month
    The final offer (before tax deduction) will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
