Compliance Function is an independent control function responsible for identifying, assessing and reporting on compliance risks across key areas, including customer interest protection, market conduct, prevention of money laundering and terrorism and proliferation financing, sanctions risk management, personal data protection as well as governance and controls. Your responsibilities will include:
Providing Compliance Officer’s services to SEB Life and Pension Baltic SE Lithuanian branch and UAB "SEB investicijų valdymas" Identifying and assessing compliance risks, and providing guidance and support to employees on effective compliance risk management Conducting compliance monitoring activities and follow up on closing identified compliance issues Developing and updating internal rules in the areas of responsibility Carrying out the annual Compliance Risk Assessment, and ensuring regular Compliance reporting and related processes Deliver compliance-related trainings to employees Participating in regulatory projects at both local and Baltic levels, providing expert opinions and input Maintaining communication with local supervisory authorities Coordinating investigation of internal incidents and reporting to the management or the supervisory authority, if required Escalating identified compliance risks and issues to senior management
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
Academic degree in Law Knowledge of the financial market and relevant legal frameworks governing financial services Experience in compliance risk management within the financial sector (preferably in life insurance or pension fund management) Previous experience in the area of prevention of money laundering and terrorism financing, sanctions risk management or personal data protection will be considered as an advantage High analytic skills, ability to express ideas clearly in verbal and written form, good writing skills Fluency in Lithuanian and English language with high written and verbal communication skills Strategic and proactive mindset Ability to provide well-reasoned opinions to management and other colleagues Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

3.650 € - 5.450 € a month
(before tax deduction).
The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
