We are seeking an Analyst within Civil Defence to join SEB’s newly established Civil Defence function within Group & Business Services. About the role: 
As an Analyst within Civil Defence, your responsibilities will focus on driving the planning process, leading risk and vulnerability assessments, and conducting training and exercise activities across the organisation. You will be instrumental in building the Civil Defence function from the ground up.
 
Key responsibilities include:
·      Support the execution of SEB’s Civil Defence strategy to ensure alignment with the bank’s overarching operational resilience initiatives.
·      Drive and coordinate the planning process for civil defence in the organisation. Identify and execute civil defence initiatives needed to maintain operations in wartime.
·      Conduct risk and vulnerability assessments, to identify gaps and need for actions across the organisation.
·      Plan, conduct and evaluate training and exercise sessions in line with the internal framework to maintain staff readiness across the organisation.
·      Represent SEB’s civil defence initiatives in internal and external forums when delegated by the Head of Civil Defence, ensuring accurate communication and effective collaboration.
To thrive in this role, we believe you:
  • Are a driven and structured professional with a genuine interest in operational resilience and civil defence.
  • Bring proven experience in civil defence planning. Experience from operational resilience, business continuity management, or a related field is valuable.
  • Possess hands-on experience in scenario planning and implementing initiatives to strengthen operational resilience.
  • Are skilled in conducting risk and vulnerability assessments.
  • Have proven experience in planning, executing, and evaluating training and exercise activities.
  • Have an analytical and strategic mindset with strong attention to detail.
  • Work independently with a high sense of responsibility, delivering high-quality results on time.
  • Communicate effectively in both Swedish and English.
  • Have strong relationship-building skills and a collaborative approach to working across organisational boundaries and with external partners.
