Friendly and enthusiastic test automation specialist | SEB, Solna
Shared Platforms team is looking for friendly and enthusiastic test automation specialist that will work with Prime Front Arena and TBricks ID systems test automation. Prime Front Arena is one of SEB’s strategic financial solution platforms for Fixed Income, Commodities, Investment Products and Securities Lending. TBricks ID (TBID) is a core system that supports SEB’s fixed-income operations and handles over 100 million price updates daily. Developers in both sub-teams are friendly and supportive and very eager to automate all the manual tests.
About the role:
As a Test Automation Engineer, you'll be part of an inclusive team of professional and engaged colleagues. You will be part of the Shared Platforms team and will work closely with developers to identify what the needed test coverage is and if necessary, create new automated test cases in Robot Framework/Python/Java. Test automation team is also executing and monitoring a variety of test runs every day, troubleshooting any errors, and sending out test results to developers. For Prime Front Arena we are further in the test automation journey. For TBID system, we are in the process of taking over test automation and you will be involved in setting up the process and building new test cases.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
At least 3 years of technical experience Experience working with Python and Java Experience working with GitHub and GitHub Actions Experience working with test automation tools Solution oriented mindset Self-driven, structured and detail-oriented personality Great communication skills and fluency in English
It is meritorious if you have:
Experience with TFT Experience with Robot Framework Experience with Prime Front Arena and/or TBID Experience working with trading and finance
