Baltic Finance Business Control team is looking for a Finance Controller whose eyes shine when working with data and who wants to contribute by improving the measurement of the bank's business processes and results. Does that sound like a fit for you?
What you will be doing
You will be a part of a professional Baltic Business Control team. Our team is a partner for both business and support unit managers, building active partnership, ensuring financial performance and providing analysis & insights for decision making. The team's main task is to prepare the budget of the bank's various units and monitor the results on a monthly basis, as well as support managers with various ad hoc analyses. - Supporting both support units and Retail segments financial steering framework
- Checking the content and accuracy of the profit and loss statements of the support units
- Analysing changes in financial indicators over time and supporting the heads of the support units in interpreting the data
- Providing complex analysis and insights for decision making
- Ad-hoc duties and assignments
- Participating in projects related to reporting and/or reporting systems, other improvements, efficiency initiatives
- Identification, facilitation, follow-up on continuous improvements
- Participation in Baltic initiatives in relation to Baltic Finance Business Control topics
- Being one entry point for local stakeholders on related business analytics matters.
- Proactive, positive and open-minded mindset
- Good spoken and written English skills
- Ability to work in a team and independently
- Good communication and cooperation skills
- University degree in economics/finance/mathematics/statistics
- At least 2 years of experience in reporting or controlling
- Analytical, accurate, can handle complex information
- Work experience with some BI software (Webfocus, Qlick Sense, Tableau, PowerBI), understanding SQL is beneficial.
- Able to manage time & prioritize
