As an intern at SEB, you will gain hands-on experience at one of the leading Corporate and Investment Banks in the Nordics. From day one, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to real projects and working on challenging analytical assignments alongside experienced professionals.
In Equity Research, we provide in-depth analysis of Nordic listed companies. As an intern, you will collaborate closely with our analysts to identify investment opportunities by analysing companies, industries, and market trends. You will typically specialize in a specific sector - such as oil & oil services, shipping, renewable energy, seafood, finance, or other key sectors on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Conducting company and industry analysis
- Supporting financial modelling and valuation work
- Preparing presentations and research reports
- Contributing to ongoing projects and client deliverables
About the Program
We offer internship opportunities during both winter and summer, with a duration of 8–12 weeks depending on the program.
As an intern, you will also be included in SEB’s Young Professionals network, giving you the opportunity to build relationships across the bank and gain insight into life at our Oslo office.
- Winter Internship: You will be onboarded locally and supported by a dedicated mentor throughout your internship, ensuring a comprehensive and hands-on experience from start to finish.
- Summer Internship: The program begins with an introductory week in Stockholm, where you will learn more about SEB, our culture, and our brand. You will then continue your internship in Oslo, supported by your assigned mentor.
High-performing interns may be considered for full-time positions within Investment Banking upon graduation.
Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for motivated students who have completed three or four years of higher education within finance, economics, business or other relevant studies.
You bring:

- Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented attitude
- An outgoing personality and eagerness to learn
Fluency in English and proficiency in a Scandinavian language are required.
