Domain Architect – Tech Trading | SEB, Solna

Are you a senior architect with strong trading-domain expertise who can turn complex stakeholder needs into clear direction and execution? We are looking for a Domain Architect to shape the technology direction for Tech Trading and enable secure, resilient and scalable transformation at SEB. 

About the role 

Tech Trading provides business-critical technology across the trading lifecycle, including pricing, execution, risk, position management, market data and regulatory requirements. 

As Domain Architect, you will continuously develop and implement the Tech Trading target architecture, aligned with SEB’s enterprise architecture, principles and technical standards. With the customer as the primary stakeholder, you will balance business, regulatory and technology priorities, consolidate different interests in an actionable direction and stay ahead of relevant market and technology trends. 

You will work closely with stakeholders across business and technology, from senior executives and regulators to engineering teams, partners and suppliers. You will be accountable for solution architecture in the domain, be part of the Tech Trading Leadership Team and drive strategic topics. You will also lead, empower, and develop a team of Solution Architects with full line-management responsibility. 

Your key responsibilities will include: 

• Define, drive and continuously improve the Tech Trading target architecture and roadmap, aligned with enterprise architecture and SEB principles. 

• Translate customer, business, regulatory and technology priorities into clear decisions across products, platforms and solution architecture. 

• Drive modernization, integration and simplification while ensuring security, resilience and operational continuity. 

• Lead architecture governance and portfolio-level dialogue, steer significant initiatives and help teams apply the architecture in delivery. 

• Contribute proactively to SEB’s architecture community and the further development of enterprise architecture. 

To thrive in this role, we believe you have: 

• Extensive experience from architecture work in complex, business-critical environments, combined with the ability to decide, execute and drive change. 

• Deep trading-domain knowledge and practical experience within FX, Fixed Income, Commodities and Equities. 

• Proven ability to lead technology transformation and modernize legacy landscapes without compromising resilience. 

• Broad architecture competence across integration, data, cloud, cybersecurity and infrastructure.

• A strategic, customer-focused and empowering leadership style

• Strong communication skills and fluent English, with the ability to align stakeholders from senior management to engineering teams.
