Our tribe Data and Analytics lead all parts of SEB in becoming a data driven company, and we are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen our team in Stockholm working in the area of large-scale data solutions

 

About the job

We are an agile department working on building a scalable, sustainable and reliable data platform to provide exceptional experience for our customers. Our teams are cross-country working in both Sweden and Lithuania. You will be working in an agile Scrum team in a SRE like role. Currently, we are in the cloud transformation process. There will be a lot of activities to migrate to the cloud as well as on-board new applications.

Together with your colleagues you will be responsible for on-boarding new tooling to our stack. Everything with security and automation in mind. You will have the opportunity to broaden your competence and will be given a generous amount of time for your own ideas and projects. Keep in mind that this should cover all aspects of application lifecycle items.

In order to thrive here you should be interested in devops engineering and like finding creative solutions to complex problems. If you are analytical, curious and have a passion for discovering new ways of working, you will enjoy it here.

To thrive in this role, we believe you have:

· Experience from working in Linux environments.

· Experience from OpenShift on prem

· Programming and scripting skills (e.g. bash, python)

· Experience from working with container orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift) and Terraform

· An automation, DevOps, SRE mindset

· Version control systems (e.g. Git)

· Database knowledge (e.g. SQL, NoSQL)

· Collaboration skills and high sense of responsibility. We are working team based, and the ability to share knowledge and experience is fundamental.

 

Nice-to-have

· Experience from working with Validio

· Experience with monitoring, metrics and log management systems (e.g. Zabbix, Grafana, Splunk)

· Knowledge of authentication and authorization services (e.g. EntraID, LDAP, OAuth 2.0)

· Automation and configuration management systems (e.g. Ansible, Terraform, Chef)

· Cloud technologies

· CI/CD, such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins
