SEB Asset Management Denmark is seeking a new colleague to join its Institutional Client Services team to contribute to the continued strengthening of its business.

SEB Asset Management manages assets for institutional and professional clients across asset classes and strategies. Your role and impact

As part of Institutional Client Services – a newly established unit focusing on delivering first-class service to our institutional clients – you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality across the full client lifecycle. You will work closely with our sales and portfolio management organizations and other internal stakeholders to deliver efficient, accurate and professional support to our clients.

The role combines hands-on execution with the opportunity to improve and automate processes, making it well suited for someone who enjoys both detail-oriented work and identifying and implementing smarter, more efficient ways of working.

 

Your main responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Day-to-day client and sales support for our institutional clients
  • Supporting the institutional sales organization and client-facing teams in Denmark
  • Client onboarding, including coordination of documentation, data and internal approvals
  • Portfolio management mandate implementation and ongoing administration
  • Client reporting and coordination of periodic and ad-hoc reporting requests
  • Acting as a key interface between clients, client executives and internal functions
  • Contributing to the development of Institutional Client Services with the goal of enhancing the client experience and value-add
  • Identifying and driving efficiency improvements in processes, tools and data flows
  • Supporting automation, AI usage and coding initiatives to enhance scalability and profitable growth

 

Your profile

To be successful in this role, you likely have:

 

  • 1–5 years of experience from a financial institution, preferably within asset management
  • A degree in a relevant academic area (e.g. business, finance, economics) or a closely related discipline
  • Experience in client service, middle office, operations, reporting or a related function
  • Focus on delivering high‑quality service to clients and stakeholders
  • A strong execution mindset – you are structured, diligent and deliver with high quality
  • A proactive, collaborative and solution-oriented approach, with an eye for continuous improvement
  • Interest in, or experience with, process optimization, automation and coding (e.g. Python, SQL, or similar)
  • Good understanding of asset management products, such as investment funds, discretionary mandates and institutional clients (an advantage, not a requirement)
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • Fluency in English; Danish is an advantage but not a requirement

 

As a person, you are execution-oriented, efficient and reliable, while also being driven by an interest in continuous improvement and optimization.
