Client Coverage (lith. Verslo klientų ir institucijų departamentas)is a key function within SEB Group corporate banking structure, responsible for managing relationships with the bank’s largest and most strategically important clients. The department focuses on maintaining and developing long-term relationships with major local and international corporate clients, municipalities and state-owned enterprises, while delivering comprehensive financial solutions to their business needs. Currently, we are looking for a new team member to join us.
 
About the Department:
Client Coverage operates within the Corporate Banking division and plays a central role in strengthening the bank’s relationships with corporate and institutional clients. The department’s main responsibility is to ensure high-quality relationship management by understanding clients’ strategic goals, financial structures, and operational challenges, and by providing appropriate banking products and advisory services.

Teams within Client Coverage typically work with mid-sized and large corporations whose operations often involve complex financial needs, such as structured corporate lending, capital financing, liquidity management, and international banking services. By coordinating internal expertise across the bank, the department ensures that clients receive integrated financial solutions and strategic advisory support.

Another important aspect of the department’s work is maintaining a strong and sustainable client portfolio while balancing profitability and risk management. This requires close collaboration with internal stakeholders such as risk management teams, product owners, and financial markets experts.

About the role:
As a new Client Executive in Client Coverage, you will play a key role in building and maintaining relationships with a portfolio of corporate clients. You will be leading a highly professional client team in Lithuania as well as closely collaborate with SEB Baltic and Group Colleagues. The position involves both relationship management and business development, with a focus on identifying new business opportunities for financing and other banking services.  In this role, you will actively manage and develop relationships with existing clients while also identifying potential new clients. A major part of the work includes originating and executing new transactions, particularly those involving advisory-driven solutions for Mid Corporate segment. This means working closely with clients to understand their business strategies and providing tailored financial solutions that support their growth and investment plans.
In this position you will:
  • Manage and develop relationships with existing and prospective corporate clients
  • Identify new business opportunities and originate financial transactions, particularly in lending and advisory services
  • Expand the bank’s overall relationship with clients by promoting both lending and non-lending banking products and services
  • Lead and coordinate a professional client team in Lithuania, ensuring high-quality service and effective collaboration
  • Work closely with colleagues across the Baltic countries and within the wider SEB Group network to deliver integrated banking solutions
  • Participate in strategic discussions with clients’ senior management, analysing their financial needs and long-term development plans
  • Importance of the Role:
  • The Client Executive position is strategically important for the bank because it directly contributes to strengthening long-term partnerships with corporate clients. By acting as a trusted financial advisor, the Client Executive helps clients make informed financial decisions, structure complex financing arrangements, and implement investment or growth strategies.
  • Through close cooperation with different business areas within the bank, the role also ensures that clients benefit from the full range of expertise and services available within SEB Group, thereby creating sustainable value both for the clients and for the bank.
  • To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
  • 5+ years of experience in corporate banking or a frontline relationship management role (e.g., Client Executive, Relationship Manager)
  • Business driven approach with strong focus on results
  • Excellent communication, coordination skills and the ability to network and build customer relationships
  • Advisory approach and confidence in strategic discussions with clients
  • Excellent analytical skills and credit knowledge
  • Can-do attitude, the mindset to deliver a top quality and walk an extra mile
  • Capability to lead, motivate and coach other team members
  • Strong spoken and written Lithuanian and English language skills

  • 4.500 € - 6.800 € a month
    (before tax deduction). 
    The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
