We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our Business Banking team in Malmö as a Client Executive for Corporate customers. The portfolio of customers you will manage includes corporate clients within various industries.

About SEB Business Banking

Business Banking is a prioritized business area for SEB, aiming to hold and further develop our market share and the strongest brand in the Swedish mid-market. Business Banking oversees SEB’s risk, profitability, and relationships for a portfolio of mid-corporate customers across the Corporate, Public and Real Estate segments.

Currently we are ranked second in the Prospera customer satisfaction survey, and our goal is to lead the industry in customer satisfaction over time. We are committed to growing both with existing clients and by onboarding new, targeted companies.

One of our focus areas is the Corporate segment, where industry-specific expertise as well as analytical craftmanship is essential in order to build strong client relationships, provide proactive advisory, and offer SEB’s full range of products and services.

We are now looking for a Client Executive to join our team in Malmö and help us continue to develop the Corporate segment.

About the role

As a Client Executive, you will lead your client team, driving forward both your portfolio of existing corporate customers and identifying new business prospects.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Lead the client team in day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with Business Banking’s strategy and values.
  • Take national responsibility for a defined group of corporate customers, serving as the primary point of contact for SEB’s offerings and proactively managing relationships with existing clients and driving prospecting of new clients.
  • Identify new business opportunities through strategic dialogue and collaboration with SEB’s product teams, such as Debt Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Markets, Private Wealth Management, and more.
  • Oversee credit risk management and drive business development in close cooperation with the customer and your client team.

  • This role is based in Malmö and you will report to the Head of Client Executives
    To thrive in this role, we believe you have:
  • A higher academic degree in economics or a related field, along with a Swedsec license.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sales, relationship management, and credit, from a banking environment. Experience from working with more complex, both national and international, corporate clients is favorable.
  • A strong analytical skill from both a business- and credit perspective.
  • Great interest in sustainability and digitalization with the eagerness to expand your expertise in these areas.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, coupled with a strong reputation in your professional environment.
  • A commercially driven person with the ability to lead, motivate, and coach team members.
  • As a Client Executive, and an informal leader for your client team, you are expected to create the best conditions to deliver on Business Banking Sweden’s business plan, KPIs, and strategic initiatives to drive your customers forward.
