The Baltic Customer Data and Strategic Transformations Unit is 50 people working on common purpose to explore and work on strategic insight so that SEB is valuable for Baltic societies today and in the future. 
 
Management of data privacy is vital for the regulatory compliance but more over for the business success of the bank. As the regulatory landscape grows in complexity, data privacy is integral part of daily business operations. Having a scalable and responsive privacy function enables us to keep and build our customers' trust and operate effectively.

What you will be doing:
 
We are looking for an engaged person with a strong drive. You are well equipped and interested in giving support and constructive advice to the line organization. Building networks and working in close collaboration with other departments comes naturally to you, and you take an outside-in view and are passionate about contributing to SEB's change journey. You have a proven record working in or with management groups on regulatory topics. You will be one of the 7 persons within the Baltic team working with Data Privacy.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Taking key role in developing and implementing annual privacy plans called GDPR roadmap
  • Being a proactive part of privacy network with a constant connection to Data Protection Officers
  • Supporting and consulting other functional areas, such as product development, technology, human resources, and more. Your support will be needed in data privacy related questions and topics, e.g., records of processing activities reviews, updates and alignments, data privacy Impact assessments, legitimate interest impact assessments, transfer impact assessments performances, data processing agreements performances etc.
  • Being a partner with cross-functional teams and to collaborate with data privacy colleagues in SEB's GDPR community, continuously monitoring data privacy developments and providing practical advice to relevant stakeholders to contribute to the development of efficient ways of working
  • Preparing materials and holding training sessions and presentations to increase the awareness and knowledge regarding data privacy 
  • Who we are looking for:
  • Experience working with GDPR or other regulatory requirements, e.g., implementing projects, handling incidents, assessing, and mitigating risks, determining reporting requirements, developing business processes related to data management, and supporting the organization regarding regulatory questions
  • Have the ability to work independently, you are result oriented and take ownership, yet being a strong team-player, valuing collaboration and knowledge sharing
  • Excellent communication skills in Estonian and English, both spoken and written
  • You are developing your competence and skillset to keep yourself knowledgeable and up-to-date with the industry news, and are able to provide best practices in a trustworthy way
  • Eager to learn and stay updated with how SEB needs to work with data protection to support SEB’s change journey in a compliant way
  • Being advanced in general MS office tools will be beneficial in order to perform in tasks related to data analytics and preparation of clear presentations on complicated topic

  • 3.300 € - 5.000 € a month
    The final offer will depend on the experience and competencies of the selected candidate. Overall remuneration package consists of the salary together with other benefits.
