About the role
As a Senior Bank Operations Specialist in the Corporate Actions team, you will be part of Investment Operations within SEB Asset Management. In this senior role, you will help ensure accurate end-to-end processing and control of corporate action events across our diverse client and fund portfolios.
As part of a team of four, you will take ownership of your area, collaborate closely with colleagues and stakeholders, and escalate risks or deviations promptly. You will also contribute to continuous improvements, stronger controls, automation and knowledge sharing.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Manage mandatory and voluntary corporate action events from notification through completion.
- Interpret event terms, identify actions, risks and deadlines, and coordinate timely elections and instructions with relevant stakeholders.
- Follow up payments, securities movements, bookings and exceptions, resolving discrepancies and escalating material issues promptly.
- Represent the Corporate Actions perspective in relevant projects and change initiatives, ensuring operational requirements and risks are considered.
- Maintain strong controls and documentation, and drive improvements, automation and risk-reducing initiatives.
To thrive in this role, we believe you have
- Several years of hands-on experience in Corporate Actions with knowledge of events, market practices and operational risks.
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, with a talent for building strong stakeholder relationships.
- A proactive approach, strong ownership and a proven track record of driving tasks and improvements to completion.
- A continuous-improvement mindset and the ability to turn ideas into practical solutions.
- A structured, accurate and collaborative approach, with sound judgement and a willingness to share knowledge.
- Experience of SimCorp Dimension is an advantage.
