About the role:
Our Baltic Finance Shared Services Centre team as one integrated cross-company team consisting of highly skilled finance professionals ensure an effective service through delivering aligned, consistent and timely accounting and reporting processing in a simplified and automatized manner across the Baltic countries.
As part of Baltic Accounting team in your role you will give your contribution to ensure efficient accounting processes according to given quality standards and requirements in a timely and efficient manner, assuring high quality, as well as contribute to development of accounting processes towards digitalization and automation within the organization.
- Be responsible for accounting processes under your supervision, ensuring daily accounting tasks and month-end closing procedures and controls within the area assigned to you
- Provide data necessary for financial reporting process within the area of your responsibilities
- Handling communication and requests received from business stakeholders and external parties
- Work together with the team on continuous process and accounting system improvements and efficiency initiatives
- Actively participate in Baltic wide initiatives in relation to accounting topics within the assigned area of competence
- Contribute to development of internal organizational documents, policies and procedures
- Higher education in finance, economics or accounting
- At least 1 year experience in accounting
- Willingness to learn new things and actively follow developments in accounting and tax related matters
- Good communication and cooperation skills
- Initiative, high accuracy and sense of responsibility
- Good MS Excel knowledge and analytical work skills
- Good knowledge of spoken and written English
- Experience in work with Oracle Financials will be considered as advantage
- Ability to work in a team and independently
