Would you like to work with accounting, reporting, and analysis of financial statements while also driving continuous improvement and process development? We are now looking for an Accountant to join the Accounting team at SEB Kort Group, based in Solna.

About the role

As an Accountant at SEB Kort, you will be part of the Operational Accounting Team and responsible for the accounting and reporting of one of SEB Kort’s geographic entities. You will work with a broad range of qualified accounting tasks and collaborate closely with other teams such as Business Control, Treasury, and Payments. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Act as a key point of contact for both internal and external stakeholders for one of our geographic entities
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities
  • Be responsible for day-to-day accounting and reconciliations
  • Perform and ensure reporting compliance with external and internal reporting requirements
  • Contribute to and independently drive accounting-related projects and initiatives
  • Take primary responsibility for VAT and tax processes in two of our geographic entities

Who are we looking for?

To succeed in this role, we believe that you:
  • Hold a university degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, and have at least three years of experience in accounting or audit
  • Are driven, structured, and detail-oriented, with a high level of energy and commitment
  • Have strong analytical skills and enjoy working in a deadline-driven environment
  • Enjoy collaborating with others and working in a dynamic environment with varied responsibilities
  • Are solution-oriented and able to take initiative and drive your own work forward
  • Have strong communication skills and are fluent in both Swedish and English, spoken and written
  • Previous experience from banking, financial services, insurance, or a larger organization is considered an advantage
  • Strong skills in Excel and experience working with Agresso are desirable
