Bjarne Schieldrop

Bjarne is Chief Analyst Commodities in SEB covering energy, metals, agricultural products as well as precious metals. The oil market has been his primary focus over the past years. Bjarne has more than 20 years’ experience from commodity markets. He has worked with analysis, market modelling, structured deals as well as trading of commodities for some of the largest commodity trading companies in the world. For several years he worked with research and forecasting of the CO2 price in the European carbon market (EU-ETS) involving European energy politics, fossil fuel and power markets. Bjarne has a MSc in applied mathematics from the University of Oslo.
