Prospera: SEB number one by Nordic institutional asset management clients

For the third consecutive year, SEB Asset Management is ranked as the leading asset manager by Nordic institutional clients in the annual Prospera customer satisfaction survey.

Thålin emphasises that the Nordic teams have systematically focused on sustainability and optimised their product offerings to align with the growing client interest in this area. This includes the SEB Nordic Energy fund, which invests in renewable energy assets in the Nordics.

Ranked first in Denmark

SEB Asset Management takes the lead ahead of Nordea and Danske Bank in the 2024 Prospera survey on “External Asset Management”, conducted among 348 institutional clients managing at least SEK 300 million in assets.

When Prospera compiles responses from individual countries, SEB is ranked first in Denmark for the third consecutive year, and third in both Finland (up from last year’s sixth place) and Sweden (maintaining its position). In all three markets, SEB makes substantial improvements in its absolute performance scores.

Promising future

The overall ranking is based on results across 13 categories, with SEB securing the top spot with a score of 4.04, the highest recorded by any participant over the last 10 years.

Javiera Ragnartz, head of Asset Management, highlights that this result is achieved during a year characterised by diligent work aimed at future-proofing the Asset Management division:
