The concept, first launched in Sweden last year, was reused in Lithuania from mid-April until mid-June – when ten green cars travelled across Lithuania, visiting and giving advice to almost 1,200 Lithuanian small and medium-sized enterprises. On 30 July, the cars arrived in Latvia where SEB’s specialists during two months will visit over 1,000 companies throughout Latvia and provide consultations on financial issues. In the autumn, the cars will continue on to Estonia.
“In the first half of 2012, SEB started co-operation with 2,613 small and medium-sized enterprises which is 12 percent more than the first six months of last year,” says Ieva Tetere, head of SEB’s Retail division in Latvia. “Company needs are indeed very different – from regular financial services to supplementing employees’ remuneration structure with long-term savings and complex financing transactions. Since the demand for our services from clients is growing, we decided to improve our tools, both in terms of transport and content – and to visit our clients.”
