SEB Technology-Developing the bank of the future

With more than 2,800 employees, situated in 14 countries with the largest part in Sweden and the Baltics, the Technology division is one of Sweden's largest IT organisations. The purpose is to be the driving force in developing the bank of the future through technological expertise and innovation.

The core mission is to make sure that the bank's systems always are available, reliable and future-proofed. Customers must be able to trust that payment systems will work and that their money and information always are in safe hands.

Technology is also, together with the Innovation hub SEBx, the bank's R&D unit, responsible for finding out how to create value for customers with the help of new technologies such as AI, machine learning, and data analytics. The fast pace of development in combination with wide range of solutions and coding languages, working on Technology means constant learning and new opportunities to develop and explore new fields. In a virtual set up all the different competences needed from across the bank, work together with a joint goal to create products and services SEB’s customers love.
