Interim Chief Strategist, Norway

Amanda Sundström

Amanda is Interim Chief Strategist Norway with responsibility for SEB’s Norwegian research, focusing on macro, the local currency and interest rates during Erica Dalstø’s maternity leave in 2024. She is also focusing on the Swedish economy and primarily the Swedish Riksbank. Amanda joined SEB as a fixed income and FX strategist in 2023, prior to which she worked as a senior economist at the monetary policy strategy division at the Riksbank, analysing monetary policy and financial conditions in Sweden and internationally. Amanda holds an MSc in Econometrics from Stockholm University and BSc in Economics and Political Science from Linköping University.
